Not just nodding your head in its general direction once in awhile. But owning it, loving it. Revelling in it. Letting it be wild and free.
See, you know that tendency you have of doubting yourself, of talking down to yourself? The way you sell yourself short and play small? I’m not buyin’ it. Not for a second. Because I see you. There’s brilliance in you. And it’s time for you to own it and walk in it.
That stuff you complain about? That smallness you’ve grown comfortable stuffing yourself into? These are just distractions you’ve created to avoid taking responsibility for your greatness. I know it’s easier to give the keys of your happiness to others. I know it’s easier to complain about what’s wrong in your world, than to step up to the challenge of making your world luscious and brilliant.
Believe me, I know.
And here’s something else I know:
I know that while you’re finding reasons to feel small and helpless, your awesome is showing. It’s there and it’s obvious. Yup, I’m sorry to break it to you, but you’re amazing and you’re just gonna have to learn to live with that! Because you look pretty silly trying to convince yourself and everyone else otherwise! You’re sitting up on top of that mountain, complaining that you have no view. Stop that!
It’s time to start asking yourself how you want your life to feel. And then getting busy on creating that. No more excuses. There are no victims here. It’s time to take responsibility for your awesomeness.
Doesn’t it feel good when you let your awesome run wild and free? That special, unique “you-ness” that comes alive and shines when you’re walking in your truth and your greatness? Doesn’t it feel expansive and right?
...Wouldn’t you like more of that in your life?
Don’t wait to live and love without holding back. Let today be the day that you begin falling in love with your awesomeness and walking in it like your life depends upon it.
Because it does. And the time is now.
No more playing small. No more hiding in the shadow of your own greatness.
You and I both know you’re brilliant and amazing.
Now, what are you gonna do about it?
